Hi, my name is Ciara (she/her) but my artist name is Cas (preferred) !! I am a Salvadorian-American tattoo artist from the D(M)V. I started tattooing in 2022 and became a full-time artist this year!! So yes, I’m a baby tattooer. For those who don’t know, I am a self-taught with some community-based learning!

Here’s a little bit more about me, apart from tattooing I like to watch movies, garden, play video games, and do photography (I’m not the best but I really enjoy taking photos on film).

How to schedule an appointment ?

To have your project considered for future bookings please email mysticmothtattoos@gmail.com or fill out my Google Form.


In your email please also include the following information-

  • what you’d like to get tattooed 

  • potential placement 

  • size or budget (for larger pieces)

  • reference images


Please note I will only tattoo most flash pieces twice max (multiple times if said so) and I will not copy other artists work.

I answer emails on my days off so it may take a while to get a response. If you still haven’t received a response within 2 weeks please feel free to resend in case it was missed

What is the tattoo process?

I typically work on drawing for tattoos 2-3 days in advance that way I can fully absorb the design. However, I do not send out drawings ahead of time.

At the beginning of our scheduled appointment, we’ll go over the design & placement. Adjustments to customs can be made and we can talk over any concerns to make the process most enjoyable and ensure you get exactly what you’re looking for. If the design needs several changes the appointment may have to be rescheduled for a later time.

What is the healing process like?

So you just got a new tattoo, YAY! Here are the steps to take care of it to preserve it’s longevity.

✶ Keep your saniderm on for 2-3 days max! Try to keep it as dry as possible. Your tattoo might “leak” fluid (plasma) within the saniderm, but that’s okay! Do not pop. During this time do your best to stay away from direct sunlight for long periods.

✶ After the 2-3 days its time to take your saniderm off! For the next two weeks, you must start cleaning it twice a day with unscented soap, then pat dry with a clean new paper towel and put a small amount of unscented lotion on the aresa. During this time, it may get itchy; do NOT scratch it!

✶ Tattoos typically take 2-3 weeks to heal, but it does not fully heal until a few more months, so it is important to continue care.

What is your deposit Policy?

A 20% deposit from your total sliding scale is required to book an appointment. I have a minimum of $90.

Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but come off the cost of your tattoo, If you need multiple appointments your deposit will come off of your final appointment.

If you need to reschedule I require 24-48 hours advance notice otherwise you will forfeit your deposit.

If you cancel and are not sure when you can reschedule your deposit is valid for up to 3 months from the date of your appointment. If you are unable to book within that time frame a new deposit will be required.

Im sick, should I still go to my appointment?

If you are sick the day of your appointment, please reschedule! If you’ve been exposed to someone with or you have been tested positive for COVID please, please, let me know and I will reschedule to a later date!

What subject matter am I interested to ?

I am always down to try somthing new and take on a challenge! What im intrested in:

I haven’t heard back, what should I do?

Mystic Moth Tattoos is currently run by just me (Cas). Whenever I drop Flash I am more likely to send out emails and messages a lot sooner.

I am currently open to customs, a response for customs may take a maximum of 3-4 days. Flash is way quicker since the designs and prices are already set!

In general, I try my hardest to get to forms/DM’s within 2-3 business days depending on the complexity of the designs.

Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

Yes! I have space for 1-2 additional people to come sit during your session. During the summer it does tend to get a little toasty in the room, so keeping it to one friend is perfect.

There are also lots of shops nearby such as Pike & Rose, Congressional Plaza, and Montrose Crossing Shopping Center where your friends can hang around!!
